When you first bring home the baby, many people have a support system that will help make sure you eat. But as the baby grows, often times mom's find that by the end of the day they realize that they have forgotten to eat or hardly ate anything all day. 

It's important that you give your body the fuel it needs to be the best you!


Here are some ideas for healthy on the go food and snacks.

Quick Healthy Food Ideas

  1. Yogurt in the tube. You can freeze it too. (they are @ Trader Joes)
  2. Boil 6 eggs at a time and have a hard boiled egg during the morning or afternoon snack.
  3. Bananas
  4. Frozen organic waffles with flax seed ( pop in toaster & ready) They have some with fruit in it. Add some peanut butter or jelley and it's a perfect breakfast.
  5. Sliced organic apples ( eat five @ a time)
  6. Buy the baby carrots. If you like ranch get the kids lunch size.
  7. Any and all chopped fruit. Its a little more $, but all you have to do is open and eat! (mango, watermelon, pineapple) Plus fruit is loaded with vitamins & minerals.
  8. Celery & peanut butter packs.
  9. Beef or Turkey Jerky
  10. String cheese packets (Organic) (They have colby, chedder too)
  11. Yogurt & granola. (Pour yogurt add bottom, add berries and granola)
  12. Trader Joes has many frozen marinated fishes (wild caught) defrost in a bowl of water, cook in oven for 10-15 minutes.Add a frozen vegetable & steam it up and dinner in less than 20 minutes.
  13. Pre cooked chicken ( Foster Farms treat their chickens well)
  14. Trail mix and almonds. Trader joes has prepackaged sizes. Go with it the first few weeks so all you have to do is open a bag. Plus some even have organic chocolate chips.
